Lindsey Goss
Sidebar Panelist
Lindsey was first drawn to the LawTube space in 2024 by a viral case in Judge Simpson’s court. A native of Northern Michigan, she lends her expertise of all things Mitten State to help the TCF viewers understand the cultural and geographical nuances while watching cases in Michigan. Lindsey joined the Sidebar panel in September of 2025 as a guest panelist and became a permanent panelist in October 2025. She also provides a segment to the TCF Pre-show where she shares the humorous events of the police blotter from her hometown paper.
Offline, Lindsey is an avid curler. She also enjoys hiking, cycling, baking, reading, and is a huge sports fan. Lindsey lives in Minnesota with her husband and their two corgis.

Ashley Fail
Sidebar Panelist & TCF Archivist
Ashley is a dynamic leader and educator who blends sharp business acumen with a passion for investigative storytelling. In late 2025, she stepped into the role of President at her family’s company, Golden Era Instruments, where she drives organizational growth and new ventures. She also serves as a consultant for small businesses, drawing on her experience as a former Vice President, and teaches essential business concepts as a professor at Purdue Global University.
Her love for true crime led her to The Courtroom Files (TCF), which has become the soundtrack to her professional life. She listens while working and contributes to the “Sidebar” by maintaining a detailed archive of live show recordings, using them to research themes and prepare thoughtful insights.
Beyond her career, Ashley leads a balanced, vibrant life as an avid reader, crocheter, runner, and Pilates enthusiast. Recently she has begun exploring the culinary arts, approaching cooking with the same curiosity and spirit of discovery that defines everything she does. A meticulous organizer and engaged community member, she continues building a unique path as an executive, educator, and lifelong learner.

Austin Steele
Sidebar Panelist
Austin has been a member of the TCF Family since August of 2025.
Ever since Austin was little, he has been passionate of the Legal System, first wanting to become a Police Officer. In High School, he ‘discovered’ the Court Room side of the American Legal System, and decided to pursue becoming a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
Austin graduated in May 2021, with his Associates Degree in Paralegal/ Paralegal Studies, currently working as a Legal Assistant.

Ele Soulekitty
The “Real” Host of TCF
Ele is the undisputed star, supervisor, and occasional chaos coordinator of The Courtroom Files. While Dan may technically operate the cameras, manage the livestream, and provide the commentary, Ele knows the truth. The show runs on her schedule.
Known for her perfectly timed on-camera appearances, microphone inspections, and complete disregard for broadcast professionalism, Ele has become a beloved part of the TCF community. Whether she is brushing against the mic, climbing into frame, or silently judging everyone involved in the legal system, Ele brings a level of authenticity no production team could ever script.
Her responsibilities include monitoring courtroom drama, distracting Dan at critical moments, boosting morale in the chat, and reminding everyone that justice is important, but so are treats.
Ele does not have a law degree, but she does have strong opinions, excellent instincts, and a clear understanding that every good courtroom show needs a cat. On The Courtroom Files, she is not just a mascot.
She is management.
