Standard gives you one audiobook selection a month to enjoy while your membership is active. Premium gives you a monthly credit to buy an audiobook that you keep, even if you later cancel. Premium normally costs $14.95/month. Check current pricing and eligibility on Audible.
Upgrading does not mean your earlier Standard selections become permanent purchases. Keeping credit-purchased books is the reason I'd consider Premium, not a reason you need to choose it today.
Yes. Cancel your membership before the next billing date if you don't want it to renew. Set yourself a reminder when you join. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and cancellation ends access to Standard's monthly selections.
